On Easter Sunday morning, the resurrected Brotherhood offers the contrast of a procession where Christ is shown as resurrected. We can see light and shining colours under the joyful sun. The procession starts with the Cruz Triunfante, the loneliness of the empty tomb, the image of Mary Magdalena opposite to Christ, Jesus’ apparition to the Emaus disciples, to Saint Thomas, in Tiberiades lake, and the image of Saint John which shows the way to the white doves which fly happily next to the Holy Virgin of the lovely heart. Santa Maria de Gracia Church surrounding area is not big enough to host the crowd of people willing to say goodbye to this Holy Virgin. They will sing the last Hail Mary of the Holy Week to the small and brown image by Juan Gonzalez Moreno. God saves you, Queen and Mother of Mercy! The sound of rockets accompanies the Virgin’s arrival while the people from this land feel very deep emotions.
